We are glad to host the Senior European Cup in the beautiful City of Hamburg this year. We very warm welcome you to the last important tournament prior to the world championships in Tokyo this year. It is a great pleasure for us to have the opportunity to do our best to perform a perfect event in cooperation with the German Judo Federation (DJB) and the European Judo Union (EJU).

Our experience with the “Judo Otto Grand Prix” for seven years will hopefully have a great impact in organizing the European Event for the next three years.

I would be a very great pleasure for us to welcome you in Hamburg again! In the closing of the tournament we will very much appreciate your participation at the “Player`s Night” in the famous “Landhaus Walter” on Sunday night.
